Making Up For A Missed Opportunity

Making Up For A Missed Opportunity

I had planned on riding the Hickory Glen mountain bike trail last Wednesday night with a group of 5 of my friends.  The plan fell apart as the potential rain turned into a realized down pour.  There were still 2 of us considering attempting the ride, but common sense won out, and we shelved the ride.  I was looking at my schedule and trying to figure out a good time to make it happen, and I didn’t see any until at least the following week.  But then a few things fell into place, and I realized I had to advantage of the opportunity in front of me.  What fell into place was the great weather on Christmas day, and the fact that I had to somehow arrange to go pick up my car in Milford.  So I kitted up, hooked up the light and hit the trail.

Here is the ride: https://www.strava.com/activities/456236661
